A Local Government sector professional, Tim Vonderwall joined the Rural City of Murray Bridge in 2019 as General Manager Corporate Services. In this role, Tim oversees the critical 'behind the scenes' functions that keep Council running smoothly, including finance, procurement, human resources, governance, customer services, communications and marketing, information services and the management of Lerwin, Council’s aged care facility. Tim is currently serving as Acting CEO for the Rural City of Murray Bridge.
Tim’s organisational management expertise drives his leadership in enhancing service quality and customer experience. He is enthusiastic about implementing efficient, fit for purpose systems across the organisation, to ensure that all corporate functions are running smoothly. His recent projects include the Lerwin Service Review, development of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan and the delivery of the “Make it Yours” docuseries.
Tim is dedicated to ensuring the Council’s preparedness for future growth. His strategic work spans corporate business planning as well as strategic finance and commercial activities, all aimed at supporting the Rural City of Murray Bridge as it grows, ensuring sustainability and resilience.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys archery and travelling through the outback. He also likes pickles and condiments (a lot).
